Gain altitude from Mount Cuarnan (1270 m) or Mount San Simeone (1180 m). Below you stretch forested ridges, the majestic course of the Tagliamento River, and the deep blue of the Three Communes Lake.

Just 47 km away, the Vipava Valley welcomes you with two legendary take-offs: Lijak (581 m) and Kovk (860 m). Thanks to a unique microclimate, the season never ends. You'll find an international flying community, perfect landings, and warm rural hospitality.

š„ Expert XC: The Challenge
For experienced pilots only. One of the most stunning XC routes in the Southeastern Alps. Take off from Mount Cuarnan, reach Lijak in Slovenia, and fly back.
- Distance: ~60 km each way.
- Season: March ā October.
- Notes: Radio required, GPS track recommended. Overnight stay in Slovenia possible.
š Easy XC: Two Days, Two Skies
For those who love freedom without competition stress. One day in Italy and one in Slovenia, with easy ground transfers. Enjoy scenic thermal flying in Gemona (~1060 m drop) and dynamic flying in Lijak/Kovk (~750 m drop).
Vibes: Slow discovery of the region and pilot camaraderie.
Season: Year-round (Best: SpringāAutumn).
