The magic world of Santa’s elves brings the magic of Christmas to Gemona del Friuli
On the second Sunday of December Gemona del Friuli changes completely, turning into an enchanted world populated by Santa’s elves. Christmas decorations, lights, scents, and carols and a market selling toys, used books and crafts bring new life to the historic town centre.
Crafts workshops are held for children. Those funny little elves and their mysterious ways keep the children entertained with their fun and magic. Where are the children’s activities held? Right in the historic town centre of Gemona.
Via Bini, across from the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, becomes an enchanted place where children can give free rein to their creativity and imagination.
In the splendid setting of the Courtyard of Palazzo Elti, children and their parents can make colourful Christmas decorations and listen to exciting storytellers, taking flight on the wings of their imaginations. The event becomes a joyful occasion for celebrating the town centre through the magical atmospheres, flavours and colours of the advent season, exchanging Christmas wishes with passers-by.
